Radical honesty
What this site stores.
Short version: almost nothing, and nothing leaves your device unless you send it. There is no account system, no analytics, no cookies, no consent banner — because there is nothing to consent to.
In your browser (never sent to us)
- Your walk — nothing stored
The stops and day you picked in the planner. Also lives in the link itself — the link is the real copy. - Maps app choice — nothing stored
Which maps app your directions open in.
Done — it’s all gone.
We couldn’t look at this data even if we wanted to. It never reaches our server; clearing your browser data removes it too.
On our server (only if you subscribe)
If you sign up for the letter, we store exactly three things: your email address, a confirmation token, and the timestamp of your double-opt-in click — that timestamp is the legal proof you actually asked for it. Nothing else, no open-tracking, no pixels. The unsubscribe link in every mail deletes the record entirely. Unconfirmed signups delete themselves after 48 hours.
